Hub Branding

Hub branding project for Allegis Global Solutions.

Timeline: April - August 2024
Why is this in my portfolio? Showcases my ability to project manage from start to completion.

Process

In early 2024, Allegis Group made the decision to relocate the current corporate office for Allegis Global Solutions across the street to the prior Aston Carter building. When first viewed in April, the building had remenants of Aston Carters branding, including grey and green colored walls and decals. As the sole graphic designer and member of the Creative team, I was tasked with rebranding the building to match the AGS brand, while revamping our current office guidelines to fit our brand refresh that occured the year prior.

I conducted several walk-throughs of the building with our corporate real estate team to identify key areas that could be branded. The image showcases the buildings layout plan and the notes of each area with initial recommendations.

This project went through a total of 7 iterations of feedback and review. To prepare for each round of review, I would print out an overview map with locations and descriptions for each item and a mockup to help with visualizing. I would conduct a walkthrough with my stakeholders, explaining my thought process behind the why to each design and the location. The image is the final walkthrough map.

Learnings

My goal with this project was to curate an experience for the employees of the Hanover Hub that was not only unique, but inspiring and educational - including walls that highlight our global wins and global employees of 25+ years that are updatable with custom acrylic framing. I wanted to ensure brand consistency throughout the, in total, 20 wall designs, without it feeling overwhelmingly navy and orange - playing off the lighting in each space as that would impact whether a design feels heavy within the space.

As being the only graphic designer and member of our Creative team, I learned how to project manage from start to completion while managing multiple stakeholders, including our President. I also gained experience working with our corporate real-estate team and external vendors, collaborating with them on possible solutions and production means.
