About Me
📍Baltimore, Maryland
Where did you go to school?
I graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in May of 2021 where I received my BFA in Design and I'm currently working towards my MS degree in Interaction Design and Information Architecture at the University of Baltimore. In undergrad, I worked as a print production assistant for three years, learning the in’s and out’s of all things print and inadvertently raising my standard of quality for produced work.
What got you into design?
I started undergrad with the hopes of getting a computer science degree as I attended a career and technology center in high school for computer science. After a few years in undergrad, and even after becoming a TA for a semester, I realized I liked the visual aspect of web design more than I liked the backend development, leading me to take a leap of faith and switch to graphic design. The last time I had taken an art class was in first grade as I ended up becoming an orchestra kid, so I spent an entire summer learning art and creating a portfolio and eventually getting accepted into the graphic design program at UMBC.

What are you up to now?
Since graduating with my BFA in 2021, I’ve been working for a global B2B company in the Marketing department as their Graphic Designer. In 2022, I decided I had way too much free time, so I’m currently working towards my MS degree in Interaction Design and Information Architecture at the University of Baltimore and expected to graduate in December of 2025.
What do you do in your free time?
When school’s back in session during the spring and fall semesters, my evenings are pretty booked with class and school work, but when I do have some free time, I like to go to CorePower Yoga and read with my cat, Felix Meowtista (named after the Orioles pitcher, Félix Bautista). During my summer breaks, you’re likely to catch me at an EDM music festival!
